Polaris Bank Limited is a Tier II Nigerian bank that was established by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on September 21, 2018 to offer commercial banking services, the bank commenced services on the same day, having purchased the assets, and assumed certain of the liabilities, of the defunct Skye Bank.

 We cater to both individuals and corporate entities through carefully designed Retail, SME, Commercial, Corporate banking as well as products for Government MDAs. We also offer self-service/digital channels offerings leveraging technology to bring banking closer to the customer.

Job Description

• The Full‑Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end‑to‑end web and application solutions, covering both front‑end and back‑end components.
• The role involves building secure, scalable, and high‑performing systems, integrating applications with internal and external platforms, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver technology solutions that support business objectives

Key Result Areas

• Develop and maintain front‑end applications using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Build and maintain back‑end services and APIs (Java, Node.js, Python, .NET, etc.)
• Design, develop, and manage databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability
• Integrate applications with internal systems and third‑party platforms
• Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented code
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues
• Participate in code reviews and team collaboration
• Work closely with product, QA, and business teams
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices

​Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Full‑Stack Developer
• Strong knowledge of front‑end and back‑end development
• Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Knowledge of databases and version control tools (Git)
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
