A group of multispeciality tertiary healthcare facilities is inviting applications from suitable and qualified candidates for its new medical centre in the capacity below:

Job Title: Head of Finance & Accounts

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key  Responsibilities 

• Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Participating in the development of financial strategies, long-term planning, and investment decisions
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks, including developing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Leading and developing the finance team, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Providing financial insights to senior Management and the board of Directors
• Developing and managing budgets for various departments
  Overseeing general ledger management, accounts payable/receivables, tax, and other statutory compliances (e.g., Pension, NSITF, ITF, etc.).

Job Requirement
Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, master's degree in finance, and professional certification (ACA) is an added advantage. Minimum of 20 years post-graduation
• Minimum of 10 years of post-professional qualifications, including at least 5 years in a similar capacity. Previous work experience in a hospital will be an added advantage
• He/she must be conversant with robust software experience in the use of Electronic Health Records. Use of Hyella will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in financial management, leadership, and strategic planning.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles

Other Requirements:

• All candidates must be highly motivated team players who are willing to go the extra mile.
• They should possess excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills are essential.
• Prior knowledge and experience in the medical field would be an advantage.
