Job Title: Head, Security

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key  Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement an enterprise- wide security strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Serve as the management-level advisor to senior leadership on all security-related matters.
  • Lead security planning and management initiatives to protect company assets and ensure business continuity
  • Oversee the monitoring of implementation, and monitoring comprehensive cybersecurity program
  • Manage data protection initiatives including encryption, endpoint security, cloud security and compliance regulations (eg., COPRHPRA CUBA pata protection
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information system.
  • Direct and manage the organization's physical security strategy, including access Control, CCTV systems, surveillance, and protection of physical assets,
  • Coordinate with facilities and legal departments to address physical security risks, including workplace violence and
  • emergencies.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks; develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations, industry standards, and internal policies (eg, ISO 27001,NIST). Oversee audits, investigations, and incident response processes.
  • Lead the organization's response to security incidents and breaches.
  • Develop and test incident response plans and business continuity plans.
  • Liaise with law enforcement, regulators, and emergency services when necessary, Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary security team (cybersecurity, physical security risk management).
  • Foster a culture of security awareness across all levels of the organization.
  • Evaluate and pročure security tools, systems, and services as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, HR, compliance, and other departments to ensure cohesive security policies and practices,
  • Communicate security risks. incidents, and strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirement
Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the Social Sciences
    Must have a minimum of 7 years working experience in similar capacity,
    Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Other Requirements:

  • All candidates must be highly motivated team players who are willing to go the extra mile.
  • They should possess excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills are essential.
  • Prior knowledge and experience in the medical field would be an advantage.
