We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and overseeing the company’s financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Oversee the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations, forecasting future needs, and optimizing working capital.
  • Implement and monitor cost-saving measures to ensure expenses align with the budget and improve overall profitability
  • Ensurecompliance with tax regulations, optimizing the company’s tax position, and managing timely tax payments to avoid penalties.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, regulatory compliance, and implementing audit recommendations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to protect the company’s assets and minimizepotentiallosses.
  • Develop and implement financial policies to standardize operations, ensure compliance, and align with business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and tax policies, as well as proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Proficient in financial software (such as SAP, QuickBooks) and office software (such as Excel).
  • Preference for candidates with relevant professional certifications (such as CPA, ACCA).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments.
  • High sense of responsibility, integrity, and teamwork spirit.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to understand and draft relevant financial documents.
