Job Summary

• Proforce Galaxies Limited, an innovative company dedicated to becoming a leader in Africa’s space and satellite industry, is seeking a talented Communication Engineer to join our growing technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement communication systems for space-based and terrestrial platforms.
• Configure and test RF, satellite, and wireless communication equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integration of communication subsystems into aerospace platforms.
• Perform link budget analysis, signal processing, and protocol optimization.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and signal integrity.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Research and propose new communication technologies and architectures to support innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in communication system design or RF engineering.
• Solid understanding of satellite communication, RF circuits, and digital modulation techniques.
• Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB, HFSS, CST, or similar for signal and antenna simulations.
• Experience with software-defined radio (SDR), IoT communication protocols, or 5G is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of satellite link design and VSAT systems.
• Hands-on experience with hardware integration and testing.
• Familiarity with low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
