Job Title: Senior Specialist – Information Systems (IS)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Are you a seasoned Information Systems professional with strong technical depth, leadership capability, and a passion for driving innovation?
• We are looking for a Senior Specialist – Information Systems to support and strengthen our IT infrastructure, systems strategy, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the IS Manager in overseeing IT systems, network infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Lead system design, deployment, upgrades, and maintenance across platforms
• Drive infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity, and business continuity initiatives
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and supervision to IS team members
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and system inventory controls
• Implement DevSecOps practices, automation, and emerging technology solutions
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (NDPR, GDPR)

Success Metrics

• High system uptime (cloud & on-premise)
• Strong cybersecurity ratings and risk management outcomes
• Effective backup, recovery, and business continuity systems
• Successful delivery of IS projects within defined constraints
• Continuous improvement and innovation (AI, automation, emerging tech)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 9–12 years’ experience in Information Systems design & administration
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure), networking, DevOps, and infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as M365/O365, Active Directory, Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, and virtualisation

Certifications (Advantageous):

• ITIL® 4
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• CISSP
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

Salary
N500,000 - N650,000 monthly.
