Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations for the Hair Cream category within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributors, developing market penetration strategies, and ensuring achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
• Manage and supervise distributors and sales representatives within the assigned area.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
• Ensure product availability and visibility across all channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis.
• Execute promotional and trade marketing activities effectively.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and proper account reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 4–6 years sales experience in the FMCG or personal care industry.
• Strong distributor management and territory management experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Good knowledge of the Maiduguri market and surrounding territories is an added advantage.
