Job Title: Testing Troubleshooter

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Testing Troubleshooter is responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults or technical issues during product testing and production processes.
  • The role ensures that all products meet quality and operational standards before release.
  • The Testing Troubleshooter works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve product performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of products, equipment, or systems during and after production.
  • Identify defects, faults, and technical issues using testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Analyze test results and determine root causes of failures.
  • Carry out corrective actions and repairs on faulty components or systems.
  • Ensure all testing procedures comply with company quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities, defects identified, and corrective measures taken.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Engineering or Technical team when necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product defects and improve efficiency.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on testing equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of testing tools and equipment.
  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations within the workplace.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, testing, or technical support within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Good understanding of testing procedures, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
