Job Summary
- As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director / Associate Partner to lead client acquisition, strengthen market presence, and drive revenue growth.
- This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving client acquisition, revenue generation, and strategic growth initiatives.
- The ideal candidate is a credible, well-networked, and charismatic professional with a proven track record of originating business and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the firm’s revenue growth strategy
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across sectors
- Advise leadership on market trends and expansion opportunities
- Deepen relationships with existing clients
- Work closely with partners and legal teams
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue growth and new client acquisition
- Number and value of deals originated
- Increase in retained/recurring clients
- Expansion of referral networks
- Growth in key industry sectors
- Improved client retention and cross-selling
- Strong business development pipeline reporting
Requirements
- 10–15 years experience in business development, consulting, banking, legal or professional services
- Experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or financial institution
- Understanding of corporate/commercial legal services
- MBA, Law degree, or relevant professional qualification (advantage)
- Proven track record in revenue generation and client acquisition
- Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
- Established network within corporate and financial sectors
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with strong execution ability
