Job Title: Administrative & Training Support Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Administrative & Training Support Officer is responsible for coordinating administrative operations, supporting training activities, managing communication with schools and clients, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the educational consult.
  • The role also requires the officer to provide basic diction, phonetics, pronunciation, and classroom facilitation support in the absence of the Lead Facilitator or assigned Trainer.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong administrative capability, excellent spoken English, confidence in public speaking, and a passion for educational development and communication training.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Operations:

  • Manage daily administrative and office operations.
  • Coordinate training schedules, appointments, and school engagements.
  • Maintain student, school, and training records.
  • Prepare reports, attendance records, invoices, and operational documentation.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, inquiries, and client follow-up professionally.
  • Organize training materials, learning aids, and classroom resources.
  • Support management in planning and executing training programs and events.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for operational and client documentation.

Training & Facilitation Support

  • Assist facilitators during diction and phonetics training sessions.
  • Supervise learners during classroom or virtual sessions where required.
  • Stand in as an acting facilitator in the absence of the Lead Facilitator.
  • Conduct basic diction, pronunciation, phonics, reading, and speech drills.
  • Support learners in pronunciation correction and spoken English improvement.
  • Assist in preparing lesson notes, training materials, and assessments.
  • Monitor student participation and learning progress during sessions.

School & Client Coordination

  • Maintain communication with partner schools, parents, and clients.
  • Coordinate training logistics with school administrators and teachers.
  • Follow up on training schedules, payments, and feedback.
  • Support client relationship management and service delivery excellence.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure professionalism and proper conduct during training engagements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational and client information.
  • Support adherence to company standards, policies, and training procedures.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, speech clinics, competitions, and educational events.

Educational Qualifications

  • HND/B.Sc. in English, Linguistics, Mass Communication, Education, Public Administration, or related discipline.
