Givanas Cosmetics Nigeria Limited, a manufacturing company, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Executive
Locations: Abuja (FCT), Anambra, and Lagos
Department: Sales
Reports to: Head, Sales
Key Result Areas
Product Penetration:
- Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage and availability of company products in the region
- Recommend product enhancement ideas to improve sales potential and customer satisfaction
- Introduce new products to capture new markets and strengthen brand equity in the region
- Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure timely deliveries and superior levels of service to customers
- Ensure effective SKU portfolio management to drive target achievement.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure detailed records of all trade partners in the region are maintained for ease of access and communication
- Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts, and trade partners
- Promote the company’s products by supporting trade partners in their daily operations
- Collate trade databases (distributors, retailers, supermarkets) for strategy development
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them
- Attend to and resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues as soon as they are reported
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to the Head of Sales and Management
- Follow up on leads and customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Prepare ad hoc reports.
Key Performance Indicators
- Manage customers by attending to and resolving all complaints and requests as may be required in a timely manner
- 100% accuracy of all customer records, databases, and quick retrieval of records
- Ensure a positive image and brand perception index with customers
- Effective use of technology/MS Suite (computers, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic office equipment (printers, fax machines, scanners, etc.)
- Ensure excellent customer experience and timely resolution of issues.
Qualifications and Experience
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3 – 5 years of experience in sales (cosmetics experience is an added advantage)
- Proficient in CRM software
- Proven ability to close sales and achieve sales targets.
