Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Ibeju- Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a smart, organized, and result-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing activities of our agrochemical company.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, office supplies, equipment, and other operational needs while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
• The candidate must be proactive, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and willing to relocate to the Lekki Free Zone axis.

Key Responsibilities

• Source reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive prices.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documents.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and supplies.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Compare quotations and evaluate supplier performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/store personnel.
• Ensure procured products meet company quality and safety standards.
• Track deliveries and resolve supply issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
• Support importation and logistics coordination where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Work closely with finance, warehouse, operations, and management teams.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
• Experience in agrochemical, manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors is an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Lekki Free Zone axis.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 per month.
