We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive (Oil & Gas Only EPIC Industry)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

  • We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Executive to join our team and support the growth of our Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning (EPIC) business within the oil and gas, power, and industrial sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, sourcing tenders, and supporting the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas industry and demonstrable experience in engineering or EPC business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the oil and gas, energy, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, OEMs, consultants, and strategic partners.
  • Monitor tender platforms such as NipeX, Ariba, SAP, and OEM portals for relevant opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs), prequalification documents, and commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to develop competitive bids and quotations.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business growth.
  • Maintain an active opportunity pipeline and prepare periodic business development reports.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Support contract review and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Achieve assigned revenue and business growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in business development or sales within the oil and gas, engineering, or EPC industry.
  • Proven experience in tendering, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering services and project-based commercial processes.
  • Familiarity with NipeX, Ariba, SAP, and similar tendering platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and relationship management capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Industry Experience:
Experience in any of the following areas will be an added advantage:

  • Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering Services
  • Procurement and Supply Chain
  • Oil and Gas EPC Contracting
  • OEM Partnerships.
