Job Title: General Manager (Construction Equipment & Machinery)

Job Brief
- The General Manager of the construction equipment and machinery leasing company will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are rented and leased efficiently, and managing the company's inventory.
- The GM will also oversee management and maintenance schedules.
- The General Manager (GM) will oversee the overall operations, strategy, and profitability of the construction equipment and machinery leasing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Ensuring that all machinery and equipment are available, rented, and leased efficiently, meeting the needs of clientele.
- Operational Efficiency: Collaborating with various departments to manage inventory, oversee maintenance schedules, and implement safety and regulatory compliance measures.
- Customer Service Excellence: Building lasting customer relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Leadership and Staff Management: Training and managing staff, optimizing logistics, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations including equipment leasing, maintenance schedules, logistics, and customer service.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance, manage costs, and ensure revenue targets are met.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate staff across sales, operations, and technical teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular performance reports to the board, analyze market trends, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in equipment leasing, construction, or heavy machinery industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Leadership & People Management: Ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction equipment, machinery operations, and leasing practices.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with fleet management software, ERP systems, and digital leasing platforms.
