We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Finance

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Reports to: General Manager / Executive Management
Direct Reports: Accountant, Account/Cost Officer, Cashiers, Finance Support Staff

Main Function

• The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, ensuring proper financial planning, reporting, compliance, and cost control.
• The role supports strategic decision-making by providing financial insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the organization.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue to ensure financial stability.
• Implement cost control strategies to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
• Supervise finance team members and ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage payroll processes and financial reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to executive management.
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or other relevant professional certification is highly preferred.

Experience:

• 4–5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
• Must have prior experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail, or related service industries.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is required.
