Job Title: Senior Account Officer

Location: Ogba, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Senior Account Officer is responsible for overseeing financial operations managiing accounting records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing Startegic financial insights to support business decisions.
• This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail , and ability to supervise junior accounting staff

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, & analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Oversee accounts payable & receivable functions
• Ensure compliance With financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, & financial planning
• Monitor cash flow and financial planning
• Coordinate audits and recommend mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g, ACA ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred
• Must have 5-8 years ot relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge Of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software an Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills
• Strong leadership and team management abiüties
• High level ot integrity attention to detail
