Skipper Eye-Q Super Speciality Eye Hospital is an International Eye Hospital chain with the presence of 30 in India and 4 in Nigeria, handling all types of Eye Surgeries such as Cataract, Retina, Glaucoma, presbyopia, cornea, squint, refractive error, and other vision problems, and having treated 10+ million patients. Our patients get the same treatment in Nigeria as in the US, UK, and India. We are 19years in Eye Care and HMO Empanelled Hospitals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Patient Relationship Executive / Receptionist

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Patient Greeting & Registration:Welcoming patients and updating demographic information.
• Scheduling:Booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments, including coordinating with specialized staff.
• Check-in/Check-out:Verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, processing payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Service Coordination: Coordinating with doctors, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow, timely investigations, and efficient discharge processes.
• Medical Records Management:Maintaining Electronic Medical Records (EMR), scanning documents, and preparing patient charts.
• Patient Care:Assisting with patient inquiries, providing information on procedures, and managing patient flow to ensure a quiet, calm environment.
• Administrative Tasks:Managing faxes, emails, and ensuring the lobby is clean.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting is preferred (typically 1-2 years).

Skills:

• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Attributes:Empathy, professionalism, attention to detail, and a team-player mentality.
