Overview

• ‎FMR Agency is recruiting a detail-oriented and financially disciplined Accountant to support financial operations within a fast-paced transport and logistics organization.
• ‎The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, monitoring transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to support operational efficiency through effective financial management.
• ‎Ultimately, you will help maintain financial integrity, support business decision-making, and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations across our client organization.

‎Key Responsibilities

• ‎Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• ‎Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and monthly accounting statements
• ‎Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget performance
• ‎Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• ‎Ensure timely bank reconciliations and ledger accuracy
• ‎Support payroll processing and statutory remittances where required
• ‎Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• ‎Assist with audits, tax documentation, and financial analysis
• ‎Monitor operational expenses and identify areas for cost control
• ‎Support management with financial insights and reporting for decision-making.

‎Requirements

• ‎Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ‎4 - 6 years’ experience in accounting or financial operations
• ‎Experience within transport, logistics, or operational industries is an advantage
• ‎ICAN certification or candidates currently in progress are strongly preferred
• ‎Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• ‎Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• ‎Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• ‎High level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail
• ‎Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
