We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Public Sector Loan Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Lagos, and Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Identify public sector lending opportunities and build institutional relationships.
• Assess and analyze client credit worthiness.
• Support end-to-end credit process: documentation, approvals, disbursement, monitoring.
• Conduct due diligence on counterparties, payment sources, and contract validity.
• Maintain comprehensive credit files and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, and operations teams for documentation perfection.
• Manage and follow up on clients with loans to ensure prompt and due repayment and prevent default.
• Manages defaults when they occur.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Barchelor's Degree with at least 3 years experience
• Proven working experience as a Loan Officer
• Expert presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Great business communication (including written and verbal) skills.
• Good carriage, professional appearance and outlook to work.
• Previous experience in the microfinance or banking sector is a plus
