As we scale, we are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Operations

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

• We are seeking a strong credit and operations leader to take full ownership of our lending process, credit governance, and portfolio performance.
• Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Operations will oversee the end-to-end loan lifecycle — from application review and credit assessment through to disbursement and portfolio monitoring. The role is critical to ensuring strong credit discipline, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full loan processing cycle from application to disbursement, ensuring turnaround within agreed timelines
• Lead and coordinate Credit Committee activities and ensure timely credit decisions
• Maintain strict KYC and AML compliance across all loan files and ensure audit readiness
• Monitor portfolio quality and ensure Portfolio at Risk (PAR) remains within approved limits
• Oversee loan disbursement controls to ensure accuracy and operational integrity
• Manage the loan management system and ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency
• Prepare and submit weekly portfolio and performance reports to the CEO, including PAR and NPL analysis
• Ensure full compliance with Lagos State money lending regulations and internal credit policies
• Work closely with Sales, Risk, and Recovery teams to improve portfolio performance and reduce defaults

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
• 4–6 years’ experience in lending, microfinance, credit operations, or financial services
• Strong understanding of credit risk, PAR/NPL frameworks, and loan lifecycle management
• Experience supporting or managing credit committee processes
• Strong attention to detail and high documentation standards
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, and Nigerian regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel and loan systems proficiency required)
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 per month.
