Job Title: Automobile Technician

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automobile Technician to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automobile diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, especially with motorcycles/bikes and related automobile systems.
• The candidate must be able to troubleshoot faults, perform repairs efficiently, and ensure vehicles and bikes are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in automobiles and motorcycles/bikes.
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles and bikes.
• Inspect engines, brakes, suspensions, batteries, tires, and transmission systems.
• Repair or replace defective vehicle and bike parts.
• Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve performance.
• Test drive or inspect vehicles/bikes after repairs to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workshop standards.
• Keep the workshop and tools clean and properly maintained.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND, Trade Test, or Technical Certification in Automobile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
• 1 - 3 years experience in automobile and motorcycle/bike repairs.
• Strong understanding of vehicle and bike mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults effectively.
• Good knowledge of repair tools and workshop equipment.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and physically fit.
