Zizi Dredging and Marine Services is a growing dredging and marine services company based in Calabar, specializing in dredging operations, sand filling, land reclamation, shoreline protection, and marine logistics services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketer

Location: Odukpani, Calabar - Cross River 
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• We are a growing dredging services start-up based in Odukpani, Calabar, focused on delivering efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible dredging operations.
• As part of our growth, we seek experienced and result-driven marketers who can attract clients and generate business opportunities within the construction, oil & gas, marine, government and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for dredgingand marineservices.
• Market the company’s dredging, sand filling and other related services to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, construction companies, estate developers, government agencies, and oil & gas companies.
• Prepare and submit business proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
• Conduct market surveys and identify potential dredging project locations.
• Follow up on leads and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth project execution after contract award.
• Maintain records of marketing activities, leads, and customer engagements.
• Represent the company during meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly business targets.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
• 2–3 years proven experience in marketing, business development, or sales.
• Experience in dredging, construction, marine, oil & gas, logistics, or related industries is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to source contracts and close business deals independently.
• Good knowledge of the Calabar and South-South business environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess confidence, professionalism, and target-driven attitude.
