Job Summary

• A reputable organization in Awkuzu, Anambra State is currently seeking to hire a smart, detail-oriented, and highly accountable Inventory & Weighbridge Officer to join its operations team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory control processes, maintaining accurate stock records, managing weighbridge operations, and ensuring proper documentation and accountability across inventory movements within the organization.
• Preference may be given to qualified female candidates to support gender balance within the team.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the management, monitoring, and accountability of all company inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, transferred, damaged, or returned.
• Monitor inventory levels regularly and report shortages, excesses, discrepancies, or unusual stock movements promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation and recording of all inventory transactions and operational activities.
• Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconciliation exercises to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
• Operate and manage the company weighbridge efficiently and accurately.
• Accurately capture and record the weight of incoming and outgoing trucks, goods, and materials.
• Verify truck details, load quantities, and weighbridge tickets before approval and documentation.
• Ensure all weighbridge records are properly documented, filed, and reconciled with inventory records.
• Work closely with production, logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination of inventory activities.
• Monitor movement of goods within the facility to reduce losses, wastage, theft, or inventory leakages.
• Ensure compliance with company operational procedures and inventory control standards.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, operational irregularities, or stock variances immediately.
• Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of inventory records and operational documentation.
• Support management in implementing stronger inventory accountability and operational efficiency systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
• 2–3 years proven experience in inventory management, storekeeping, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, or weighbridge operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and stock management processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accountability.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle operational responsibilities effectively.
• Strong integrity, professionalism, and communication skills.
• Candidate must reside in Anambra State or be willing to relocate to Awkuzu.
• Must be available for immediate resumption.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 per month (Based on Experience).
