We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Centre Administrator

Location: Festac, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Assist the HR Department to recruit and select staff as required according to HR policies and procedures and the departmental budget.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure that all recruitment, selection, and resignation documentation are completed, updated and forwarded to HR as required according to HR regulations and requirements.
  • Answer and/or refer any queries from employees in respect of leave matters and complete any administrative tasks as needed.
  • Arrange induction for new appointments and ensure that new staff members are orientated into the department by designated staff member.
  • Identify and solve operational problems such as: TAT, Quality problems, breach in discipline, noncompliance with policies and procedures and negligence or transcription errors when needed according to relevant work instruction / SOP.
  • Communicate repeat results to doctors/wards and explain non – conformances when required.
  • Monitor printing, sorting, and delivery of routes daily.
  • Liaise with supply chain monthly according to departmental needs using organisational tools (SAP).
  • Send out or receive staff circulars and internal memos when required.
  • Monitor and follow up on the day-to-day operational aspects of the department in accordance with departmental needs and/or relevant SOP.
  • Verify all overtime claims and shift; standby and overtime allowances on a monthly basis according to relevant work instruction/SOP.
  • Monitor the materials management of the department according to days-on-hand and other relevant Materials Management reports.
  • Compile a budget monthly according to departmental requirements and send through to CFO for approval.
  • Monitor branch expenses and productivity according to the monthly financial reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in medical laboratory science (MLS) or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience medical Branch Operations or in a similar role
  • Laboratory techniques
  • Excellent Leadership skills
