Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom 
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: July – September 2026 (subject to operational scale-up)

About the Opportunity

  • A dynamic and growing business and workforce support services company is building its founding operations team and seeking a qualified HR & Workforce Support Officer to help establish and scale people systems from the ground up.
  • This is an exceptional opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in startup environments and wants to play a central role in building structured workforce solutions that support both internal operations and client-facing HR services.

Role Overview

  • As HR & Workforce Support Officer, you will be instrumental in developing and executing recruitment, staffing, workforce coordination, and HR retainership operations.
  • You’ll work at the intersection of internal people systems and client service delivery, helping to build the HR infrastructure that will support the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interview support.
  • Support candidate onboarding and orientation programs
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines

HR Systems & Administration:

  • Maintain comprehensive personnel records and HR documentation
  • Develop and implement HR systems, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor staff records, attendance tracking, and workforce reporting

Workforce & Client Support:

  • Support workforce coordination for client staffing engagements
  • Assist in managing HR retainership deliverables for clients
  • Coordinate performance tracking and employee engagement initiatives

Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute to building and refining internal people systems
  • Support operational excellence in HR service delivery

Requirements
Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Relevant HR certification (CIPM or equivalent) strongly preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant HR or recruitment experience preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruitment processes and HR administration
  • Startup or fast-paced environment experience is an advantage
