Job Title: Business Development Manager (Corporate Sales)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Responsibilities

• Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new corporate accounts, focusing on schools, government agencies, and blue-chip companies in the South-South region
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and C-suite executives.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales plan to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Tender & Bid Management: Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring the organization’s wins competitive bids.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and regional economic shifts to pivot strategies effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to corporate clients.

Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of the Port Harcourt business ecosystem and an existing network of corporate contacts in the region.
• Generating and translating market data into actionable sales leads and long-term partnerships.

Skills:

• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle high-stakes objections and close deals with favorable margins.
• Exceptional presentation skills, capable of representing the organization at seminars and boardrooms.
