Job Title: Administrative & Finance Officer

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: July – September 2026 (subject to operational scale-up)

About the Opportunity

  • Join the founding operations team of a growing business and workforce support services company as Administrative & Finance Officer.
  • This role offers the unique opportunity to establish financial systems and administrative processes in a scaling startup environment.

Role Overview

  • The Administrative & Finance Officer will serve as the operational backbone of the company, managing internal administration, financial tracking, bookkeeping, and records management.
  • You’ll work closely with management to build robust operational and financial systems that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and support bookkeeping activities
  • Track income, expenses, invoices, and payment records
  • Support budgeting processes, reconciliations, and internal financial reporting
  • Prepare financial summaries and operational reports for management

Administrative Operations:

  • Manage office administration and operational records
  • Establish and maintain documentation and filing systems
  • Support compliance record-keeping
  • Coordinate administrative support across internal operations

Procurement & Vendor Management:

  • Assist with procurement processes and vendor coordination
  • Maintain vendor records and payment tracking

Operational Support:

  • Provide operational reporting support to management
  • Help develop and refine office systems and procedures

Requirements
Education:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative or finance experience preferred
  • Startup or small business experience is a significant advantage

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (required)
  • Basic bookkeeping and financial reporting knowledge
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial record-keeping
