We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pediatric Nurse

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, IV fluids, and vaccinations as prescribed.
• Assist with pediatric procedures and emergency interventions.
• Educate parents and caregivers on child health, medication, nutrition, and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure infection control standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current practicing license (Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in pediatric nursing or paediatric wards.
• Sound knowledge of pediatric assessment, neonatal care, immunization, and emergency pediatric protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with children and families.
• Ability to work shifts, including night duty and weekends as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is an advantage.
