Job Title: Truck Mechanic

About the Role

• Our client is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to maintain, inspect, and repair the company's fleet of heavy-duty vehicles. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational uptime and fleet safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults accurately.
• Carry out engine overhauls, brake servicing, and transmission repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs for all vehicles.
• Identify and requisition required spare parts and supplies.
• Ensure all vehicles meet operational and safety standards before deployment.

Requirements

• Trade certification or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a truck or heavy-duty vehicle mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and truck electrical systems.
• Experience working with oil and gas fleet vehicles is an advantage.
• Ability to work in demanding field conditions.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
