We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Clerk
Location: Aningeje, Akamkpa Local Government Area - Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- The Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Clerk is responsible for accurate recording, processing, and reconciliation of all Fresh Fruit Bunch transactions within the estate.
- The role ensures timely data entry, reporting, and preparation of contractor payment documentation in line with company policies and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
Transaction Processing & Data Management
- Prepare and upload daily Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) transactions into the SAP system.
- Ensure all data entries are accurate, complete, and submitted within required timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all FFB transaction records.
Reporting;
- Compile daily FFB transaction reports for management review
- Generate periodic (weekly/monthly) summaries of FFB activities.
- Assist in preparing analytical reports on harvest volumes, deliveries, and contractor performance.
Month-End Closing Activities;
- Perform FFB month-end closing processes.
- Reconcile all FFB-related transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all records are complete and ready for financial reporting and audit purposes.
Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain secure and organized records of all FFB transactions and contractor payments.
- Support internal and external audit exercises when required.
Coordination & Support:
- Liaise with field supervisors, weighbridge operators, and mill personnel to validate FFB data.
- Collaborate with accounts and finance teams to ensure timely payments and reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support related to FFB operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of NCE/OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in clerical, agricultural operations, or finance support roles (preferably in a plantation environment).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an added advantage.

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
