We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fundraiser

Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to mobilize resources for Everlink’s solar energy initiatives.
• Carbon Credit Finance: Calculate, verify, and structure carbon credit transactions, ensuring compliance with international standards and maximizing financial returns.
• IRECs Management: Oversee issuance, trading, and monetization of International Renewable Energy Certificates (IRECs) from solar projects.
• Investment Finance: Build financial models for solar projects, including ROI analysis, risk assessment, and blended finance structures.
• Donor & Investor Relations: Engage donors, climate finance institutions, and private investors to secure funding commitments.
• Proposal Development: Draft persuasive proposals highlighting environmental impact, carbon credit potential, and financial viability.
• Partnership Building: Collaborate with NGOs, government agencies, and financial institutions to expand fundraising networks.
• Financial Reporting: Deliver transparent reports on funds raised, carbon credit revenues, IREC transactions, and investment outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, Environmental Science, or Renewable Energy.
• Carbon Credit Expertise: Strong knowledge of carbon markets, credit calculation methodologies, and monetization strategies.
• IRECs Knowledge: Familiarity with IREC systems, including issuance, verification, and trading.
• Solar Energy Knowledge: Understanding of solar technologies, project financing, and sustainability impacts.
• Fundraising & Finance Experience: Proven track record in fundraising, investment, or climate finance.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, investment analysis, and risk management.
• Communication Skills: Ability to translate technical/financial concepts into compelling narratives.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
