We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tax Associate

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

• Prepare and file tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, PIT) in compliance with statutory requirements; support audits with the Federal Inland Revenue Service and State tax authorities.
• Support tax advisory engagements, including transaction structuring, regulatory compliance, and tax research.
• Manage client interactions, analyze financial data, and prepare reports and deliverables.
• Monitor tax law changes (including the Companies Income Tax Act, Personal Income Tax Act, and Value Added Tax Act) and assess client impact.
• Identify tax risks, ensure compliance, and contribute to internal process improvements and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0 - 2 years of relevant audit or accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit/accounting software.
• Ability to use Caseware and Sage is a MUST.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant.
