PC Place is a Nigerian retailer specializing in computers, electronics, and accessories, with both an online store and physical locations. The company's head office is located in Ikeja, Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Web Developer / Programmer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to implement website features and functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Optimize websites for speed, security, and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and software tools where necessary.
• Manage website updates, backups, and maintenance.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across different browsers and devices.
• Monitor website performance and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Web Developer, Programmer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other web development languages/frameworks.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of responsive design and UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress is an advantage.
• Understanding of web hosting, domain management, and website security.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with React, Laravel, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Basic graphic design skills are an added advantage.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
