Job Title: Lead Auditor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Lead Auditor will oversee internal audit functions, evaluate internal control systems, identify operational and financial risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual audit plans.
• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits.
• Review internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• Investigate financial discrepancies and irregularities.
• Evaluate risk management processes across departments.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Supervise and mentor audit team members.
• Conduct periodic stock and asset verification exercises.
• Review procurement and inventory management processes.
• Assess operational efficiency and process effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external auditors where necessary.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (Associate level) - ICAN/ACCA/ANAN.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage

Experience:

• 5-7 years audit experience.
• Prior leadership experience is required.

Salary
N300,000 per month.
