We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Engineer / Mechanic

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty equipment such as trucks, tractors, bulldozers, excavators, wheel loaders, and generators.
• Perform corrective repairs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine faults accurately.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend effective solutions.
• Adjust, service, and replace defective components to restore equipment functionality.
• Ensure all replaced parts meet required technical and safety standards.
• Performing equipment maintenance and repair tasks on heavy equipment, troubleshooting problems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, inspections).
• Conduct on-site/field repairs and equipment testing.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.

Requiement

• Diploma in Electro Mechanical Maintenance or related field is a plus.
• Equipment Maintenance, Heavy Equipment, and Vehicle Maintenance skills
• Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Experience using diagnostic software and equipment
• Experience working in a construction or heavy equipment industry
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
