Job Title: Security Superintendent

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• To deputise for the Security and Marine Manger in his absence, providing effective leadership, guidance and instruction.
• To manage the daily coordination of the security personnel and their resources at all company facilities.
• To assist the SM with providing robust, effective, adaptive security measures
• Monitor and review all Security-related practices to ensure compliance with departmental SOPs and company policy; provide SM recommendations and training solutions.
• Act as the Logistical lead for the department for all equipment and infrastructure, including the collation of Inventory lists, regulation of Inspections and maintenance requirements.
• Undertake regular security inspections and assessments of the Company facilities, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Maintain the level of Security awareness training.
• Manage the Security Induction Process.
• Produce reports and correspondence utilising various business software.
• Conduct regular security drills and procedures with staff to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Maintenance of standards of discipline.
• Assist the SM with investigating and collating information for any Security-related breaches
• Research and assess security-related equipment and infrastructure needs in line with the development plan for the department.
• Assist the SM in selecting suppliers and partners by objectively assessing the company's requirements and suppliers' capabilities.

Requirements

• University Degree (2.1 or higher)
• 7 - 10 years’ experience.
• Security Management Certifications
• Preference will be given to candidates with military experience
• ISPS qualified (International Ship and Port Facility Security).
• Having experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry, working with multinational companies/clients is an added advantage
