Job brief
- We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition for the company’s Solar Home System (SHS) products within the assigned region.
- The role oversees regional sales operations, distributor and agent management, customer relationship management, and achievement of revenue targets while ensuring excellent market penetration and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Manage and supervise Sales Officers, Field Agents, and channel partners within the region.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s customer base.
- Drive customer acquisition for Solar Home Systems and related energy products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, community leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to improve sales performance.
- Ensure proper execution of lease-to-own/payback models and customer onboarding processes.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor sales activities and support field teams.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and sales procedures.
- Coordinate with operations, technical, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize sales campaigns, promotional activities, and market activation programs.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance management of regional sales staff.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in renewable energy, FMCG, telecommunications, or financial services.
- Experience managing regional or field sales teams.
- Experience in Solar Home Systems or PAYGO business models is an added advantage.
