Job Title: People & Culture Lead

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Job Types: Full-time

Role Overview

  • The People & Culture Lead is responsible for driving organisational development, talent management, employee engagement, and people strategy initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.
  • This role provides strategic leadership across the people function by designing and implementing frameworks, policies, and culture initiatives that align workforce performance with organisational objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capability, strategic HR expertise, and the ability to foster a high-performance, people-centered, and execution-focused work environment.

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
  • Professional HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, PHR, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or strategic HR responsibilities.
  • Prior experience within consulting, technology, professional services, or fast-growing organisations is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational development, culture transformation, and people strategy implementation.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and collaboration tools such as ClickUp and Slack.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms and talent management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HR analytics, workforce reporting, and people data interpretation.
  • Strong understanding of labour legislation, HR compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
