Job Title: Area Sales Executive (Animal Feed)
Locations: Edo, Ekiti, Kwara, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo

Description
- We are seeking experienced Area Sales Executives with a strong background in animal feed sales to manage and grow our market presence in Lagos, Rivers, and Akure.
- The successful candidates will be responsible for farmer and distributor acquisition, sales target achievement, technical support coordination, and market intelligence gathering within their assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets for animal feed products
- Manage and supervise distributors, agro-dealers, and direct farm customers within assigned territory
- Identify and onboard new distributors, agro-vendors, and large-scale livestock farmers
- Conduct regular farm visits to provide technical advice and build customer loyalty
- Organize and participate in farmer meetings, demonstration days, and field trials
- Monitor competitor activities: pricing, promotions, new products, and market share
- Collect and report market intelligence on livestock trends, disease outbreaks, and feed consumption patterns
- Manage customer credit facilities and ensure timely collections within approved limits
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely deliveries to farms and distributors
- Provide feedback to the production team on product quality and customer preferences
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, journey plans, and expense reports
- Train distributor sales agents on product specifications and feeding guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Animal Science, Agriculture, Marketing, or related fields
- 3 to 6 years of sales experience in theanimal feed industry(poultry, fish, or swine feed)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of the animal feed distribution landscape in Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Edo, Ogun or Kwara (depending on applied location)
- Existing relationships with farmers, agro-dealers, and distributors in the assigned territory
- Basic knowledge of animal nutrition and feeding practices
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently with extensive field travel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic sales reporting
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within territory
- Residency within or near the assigned territory (Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Edo, Ogun or Kwara)
- Ability to speak local languages is an advantage.
