Amember of the Association of Non- Bank Microfinance Institutions of Nigeria (ANMFIN), The company registrered in July, 2008 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with head office located at Ibadan having several branches across the states.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Credit Officer

Locations: Okeho, Saki, Igbeti, Ogbomoso, and Ibadan - Oyo; Ijebu-jesha, Ipetu-jesha, Ife, Olode, Ijebu-jesha, Ipetumodu, Modakeke, Apomu, and Iwo - Osun; Asaba - Delta, Kwara, Lagos, and Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Credit Appraisal & Origination: Review loan applications to determine loan feasibility based on cash flow projections and repayment capacity.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Evaluate structural, business, and industry risks to recommend collateral requirements, interest rates, and loan limits.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Collect necessary documents to ensure compliance with company's policy.
  • Approval & Rejection: Approve or reject credit proposals within a designated authority level, or escalate higher-risk files to the credit committee.
  • Payment Setup & Structuring: Establish realistic payment schedules, determine interest rates, and clearly communicate terms and conditions to the borrower.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Actively track active loan accounts to monitor repayment progress, detect early warning signs, and prevent defaults.
  • Client Relationship Management: Communicate with borrowers, address their inquiries, and guide them smoothly through the entire lending lifecycle.
  • Delinquency Management & Collections: Collaborate with collection teams to restructure loans, implement recovery procedures, and set up workout plans for impaired accounts.
  • Reporting & Record Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date loan records using all source documents.

Salary
N100,000 - N110,000 monthly.
