Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Summary

• GMYT Fashion Academy is scaling fast, and we need a hands-on *Chief Operating Officer* to turn strategy into smooth, day-to-day execution.
• You’ll oversee operations, programs, and teams to ensure we deliver high-quality training, hit our growth targets, and maintain a culture of excellence.
• This is a leadership role for someone who loves building systems, solving problems fast, and making things run better every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Leadership: Oversee all academy operations including training delivery, facilities, inventory, and scheduling to ensure smooth daily running.
• Program Management: Ensure all courses and programs meet quality standards, timelines, and student outcomes.
• Team Management*: Lead and coordinate department heads, instructors, and admin staff. Foster accountability and high performance.
• Process Improvement: Design and implement systems, SOPs, and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Growth & Partnerships: Support the CEO on expansion plans, partnerships, and new initiatives.
• Budget & Reporting: Manage operational budgets, track KPIs, and report on performance to leadership.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the academy meets regulatory, safety, and HR compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA is a plus.
• 6+ years’ experience in operations, program management, or senior management roles, preferably in education, training, or creative industries.
• Proven track record of building systems, managing teams, and delivering results.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and basic project management tools.
• Passion for education, youth empowerment, and the fashion/creative industry is a big plus.
