We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Facility Managerto oversee the maintenance, functionality, safety, and overall management of the company’s facilities and operational assets.
  • The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities, utilities, equipment, and support services operate efficiently to support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of company facilities across all locations
  • Supervise maintenance activities for electrical systems, generators, HVAC/air conditioning systems, plumbing, water systems, and other building infrastructure
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Manage facility service providers and contractors to ensure quality delivery
  • Monitor fuel consumption, utility usage, and maintenance costs
  • Oversee facility-related assets, including office equipment and operational support infrastructure
  • Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of company vehicles and support coordination of repairs where required
  • Manage safety inspections and ensure compliance with HSE and statutory requirements
  • Respond promptly to facility emergencies and operational issues
  • Prepare facility reports, maintenance plans, and budget recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Technology, Facility Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5–8 years’ relevant experiencein facility management, technical maintenance, or operations management
  • Hands-on experience managing generators, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and general facility operations
  • Strong vendor and contractor management experience
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and operational planning
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Professional certifications in Facility Management, Engineering, HSE, or related areas will be an added advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Strong technical troubleshooting capability
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
  • High level of accountability and ownership
  • Experience managing facilities in corporate, industrial, warehouse, logistics, or oil & gas environments is an advantage.
