Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• The role focuses on automation, system reliability, and close collaboration with development teams to improve delivery speed and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
•  Implement best practices for cloud security and reliability
• Mentor junior DevOps and infrastructure engineers

Requirements / Skills

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Strong Linux and scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are an advantage.

Salary
N1,000,000 - N1,200,000 monthly.
