Job Title: Certified Tank Engineer / Foreman

Location: Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• Responsible for supervising and coordinating all tank rehabilitation activities including inspection, repair, refurbishment, testing, commissioning, and compliance with API standards and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise tank rehabilitation and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate mobilization, tank isolation, degassing, and cleaning operations.
• Ensure all repair and refurbishment works comply with API standards and Company specifications.
• Monitor welding, structural repairs, piping restoration, and painting activities.
• Oversee hydrostatic testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Review drawings, technical documents, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and permit-to-work systems.
• Coordinate workforce activities and monitor project progress.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and site inspections.
• Liaise with Company representatives on technical and operational matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• API certification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in tank design, construction, inspection, and rehabilitation.
• Strong knowledge of API 650, API 653, and related international standards.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
