We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Certified Welder
Location: Nigeria
Job Summary
- Responsible for carrying out welding and fabrication activities during tank repair and rehabilitation in accordance with approved welding procedures and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication works on storage tanks, piping, and structural components.
- Interpret welding drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure welding activities comply with approved WPS/PQR requirements.
- Carry out repair welding on corroded or damaged tank sections.
- Conduct equipment checks and ensure welding tools are in good condition.
- Maintain safe working practices during hot work operations.
- Support inspection and testing activities when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid international welding certification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial tank or piping welding works.
- Familiarity with SMAW, GTAW, MIG, and other welding techniques.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and hazardous environments.
