Job Title: Cost Engineer

Location: Idi-Oro, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Cost Engineer to support project cost management within a dynamic engineering and EPC environment in Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, with a proven ability to support efficient project delivery and minimize commercial risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates
• Monitor project costs and identify variances
• Conduct cost forecasting and highlight risks/opportunities
• Support tendering and pricing activities
• Review invoices, variations, and claims
• Provide timely cost reports to management

Requirements

• Relevant Degree (Engineering, QS, Construction, or related field)
• 5–7 years’ experience in cost engineering or project cost control
• Background in construction, engineering, or oil & gas (EPC)
• Strong skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
