Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Location: Lagos Free Zone Trade, Idotun, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking to hire an experienced and proactive Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, inventory coordination, and sourcing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies required for operations
• Identify reliable vendors and negotiate competitive pricing and delivery timelines
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure consistent service delivery
• Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documentation
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities
• Track orders and ensure the timely delivery of purchased items
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving procurement opportunities
• Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor databases
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and operational standards
• Resolve supply, delivery, or vendor-related issues promptly
• Support cost control and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Officer, or similar role
• Experience within telecommunications, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, or technical operations is an added advantage
• Must reside within or around the Lekki Free Trade Zone
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good understanding of procurement processes and inventory management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Good communication and reporting skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Lives within or around the Lekki Free Trade Zone
• Experienced in handling technical or operational procurement
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
• Able to manage multiple vendors and procurement timelines effectively.

Salary Range
N200,000 Monthly.
