Job Title: Head, Portfolio Management

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Portfolio Management to oversee the organization’s portfolio of investments, projects, or client accounts (as applicable).
- The role is responsible for driving portfolio performance, optimizing returns, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, and managing risk across all portfolio activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of portfolio management strategies aligned with corporate objectives
- Oversee the performance of all active portfolios and ensure optimal returns and value creation
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, analysis, and reporting to senior management
- Identify underperforming assets/projects and recommend corrective actions
- Manage risk exposure across the portfolio and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with business units to ensure effective allocation of resources
- Drive investment decisions and prioritization frameworks based on data and strategic fit
- Lead, mentor, and develop the portfolio management team
- Engage with stakeholders, partners, and external advisors where necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage)
- 8–12 years’ relevant experience in portfolio management, investment management, project portfolio oversight, or related field
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and risk management skills
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex portfolios
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIPM, PMP) is an added advantage
