About the Job
- The primary objective of Lubrication technician is to lubricate plant equipment and ensure lubrication =units are in good working condition to improve the plant performance and reliability.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for the lubrication of all the plant equipment
- Records some possible anomalies observed on the equipment while lubrication is being carried out
- Monitor the stock of Lubricants and inform the Lube Supervisor weekly.
- Records the consumption of oils and greases dispensed
- Maintain good house-keeping and safety around lubrication environment premises
- Safe storage and disposal of used/dirty rags.
Requirements
- UCDI, NTC/NBC-NABTEC or, N.D in Mechanical Engineering of advantage with 2 years working experience in same industry or any heavy industry operations
- Minimum 1-5 years’ experience in heavy Engineering, including rotating machines. Equipment maintenance, condition monitoring, in a refinery, power or heavy process plant
- Very conversant with cement plant equipment.
- Good understanding of technical standards and lubrication applications.
