Job Title: Head of Operations

Description

• Our client seeks a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily construction operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• The role involves coordinating project execution, managing operational efficiency, controlling costs, and supporting business growth across multiple construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations and active project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate Project Managers, site teams, procurement, and other departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor project performance, operational KPIs, and resource utilization.
• Identify operational risks, delays, and inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage cost control, procurement processes, and operational expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and improve operational systems, processes, and reporting structures.
• Provide regular operational updates and reports to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in construction operations or project management.
• Strong understanding of project execution, budgeting, and site operations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in site and office environments.
• Proficiency in project management tools is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, COREN, NSE, CIOB, or related memberships are an added advantage.
